My Super Amazing brothers qualified for and ran BOSTON this year!  We kept Leilani, Mia and Aidyn while Mark and Rosie went up to Boston.  Between three birthday parties, orchestra competition, swim team practice, soccer practice, school, homework, piano practice, family pictures, and a boy scout activity we did find a little time for FUN.  

Mia (9) had been training for a 10k and it happened to be on the weekend that her parents were going to be out of town so she asked me to run it with her.  The course was quite hilly and this amazing girl did not stop once to walk except for when she got water from the water stations!  She finished her 10k in 1hour and 10 minutes and was SECOND in her age group!   Since it was the BLUE BELL FUN RUN we received FREE BLUE BELL ICE CREAM at the end of the race.  On our way home we stopped to pick up our ceramics and then Mia and I had a little lunch date.  I LOVE living close to my nieces and nephews and really enjoyed getting to spend some quality time with MIA.  She is such a FUN girl!
