Valentines Day for us was mostly celebrated on Friday! Kinleigh went a party at her friend Brigham's house in the morning. They played some games, decorated a cookie, played outside, and passed out valentines. This was our first year to go to a Valentines Day party and my first year of having to make a Valentines Day box. I have no idea how to do this- as you can tell. The one she took was actually the second one we made (shown in picture). The first one was awful!
Levi played with Nate during the Valentines party. That and slept in Ms. Nicole's arms.
Friday night we spent a romantic evening with the Sweeney's.... We ate dinner at the Big Easy (I know exactly the place to eat on V-Day) and then went and saw Stomp! We did not have time for dessert after dinner so after Stomp we headed up to the Cheesecake Factory for some delicious dessert. We are glad we could share the romance with the Sweeney's :). By the way, Stomp was awesome! This was our first time to leave Levi for several hours with a youth babysitter. I left him once before while I ran to physical therapy for about an hour.
Saturday morning we carried on some what of the Lawton tradition. Every year we would come down to find a box of chocolates on our breakfast plate.
Daniel was a great valentine and let me sleep in while he got up early with the baby. We decided to spent the morning going for a 14 mile bike ride in the neighborhood (Daniel pulling the bike trailer with both kids) and then a 6.2 mile run (again Daniel pushing the double stroller). Saturday night Daniel went to Stake Conference so I actually spent the evening with my other two favorite Valentines- Kory and Nicole. Oh and my kids of course :).
