First Swim of The Season

I love neighborhoods that have pools. Growing up in Texas in a neighborhood with four pools it was quite the shock to my system when we moved to NC to find that it is rare around here to have a pool. After a couple years in our first home I started to get restless and so we began just "looking" at other neighborhoods and homes. We fell in love with this particular neighborhood that was close to the freeway and had a POOL! We eventually met with someone and picked out the floor plan we wanted, all the extras that I just had to have, and then put in our offer. The builder came back with a counter offer and we just did not feel good about the house. Despite the fact that we had walked the lands a hundred times and were super excited we put the new home process on hold. Not too many months later a family in our church was moving out and were going to sale their house in the neighborhood we wanted. To make the long story short- the sale was contingent on our house selling and if their house sold first we were out of luck. The exact day that they received an offer we received an offer. I think it was mean to be....
Back to the point of my post! We greatly enjoyed our first day at our neighborhood pool with our friends the Bosley's and the Sweeney's. Levi absolutely loved the water and stayed in his floaty for over an hour and a half. He took a quick eating break and then was back in the water. Seriously could this kid get any better?!? Kinleigh has always been a little fish! She isn't quite as brave as she was at the end of last year but I know it will only take a couple swims and she'll be fearless.
