With Mark and Rosie hosting Christmas Eve and Daniel and Sabrina hosting Christmas Day I felt the least I could do was host New Years Eve!
We just had family and a couple families that Wish they were Lawton's!
Daniel was determined he wanted to set off fireworks and he strategically planned going to the fireworks store with out me.... That way he could spend what he wanted. He had some fun ones for him and the guys to set off and TONS of sparklers for all the kids. Levi LOVED the sparklers and the fireworks. It took Kinleigh some warming up this year but once she released she wasn't going to get hurt she had a blast. Even with the amount of money he spent... we could not compete with all the action going on around us. Man do people in this neighborhood LOVE them some FIREWORKS.
Of course we ate LOTS of YUMMY FOOD. The kids played upstairs while the adults played some CHARADES down stairs.... Lots of Laughter and the girls pulled out the VICTORY by a LONG SHOT. Better Luck to the Boys next year.
We brought the kids down for the countdown and the rest is history!
