The following weekend after getting back from our trip... Daniel and I met up with the Hartshorns and headed over to New Orleans for the weekend. We were only there for two days but honestly it felt like much more. We accomplished a lot in two days.
We may not have arrived until 12:30AM but that did not stop us from getting out and exploring. We walked the streets and then headed over to get our First of Three rounds of Beignets! Man those things are FABULOUS. We got a few hours of sleep, ate the most Amazing breakfast buffet from the Fancy Hotel next door, explored some more, took a tour of a home, walked the graveyards, ate some New Orleans food, took a carriage ride, and went back to explore and find some more favorite peoples houses. We had to take pictures in front of Angelina and Brad's house. Sunday we went to church, found Sandra Bullocks house, and then toured a Plantation on the way home. When we arrived at the Plantation it was POURING rain! Imagine four adults under one umbrella... COMICAL. By the time we ate lunch the rain had stopped and we were able to take the tour and walk those Beautiful grounds.
