Happy Valentines Day Kinleigh.
This year Daniel suprised me with a ski/snowboard trip at Snowshoe in West, Virginia. Kinleigh stayed two nights with Grandma. Grandma said she was up from 10-1 at night trying to get Kinleigh to go back to sleep. I guess she kept waking up and didn't know where she was. The next night Grandma brought Kinleigh back to our house and let her sleep and said she did great. Of course she was just fine during the day... she loves Grandma.
Daniel and I had a blast. Sad that we were not able to spend Valentines Day with Kinleigh, but she won't know the difference :). We spend all day Wednesday skiing. We were so excited that we got up to the resort at 8:30 that morning and the runs didn't start until 9. We were one of the first ones on the runs. The conditions were not the best the first day. It was snowy, windy, and the slopes were icy. We still stayed until 4 pm, but it sure was cold. Thursday was even colder (-4 on the mountain), but the conditions were so much better. The runs had powder on them and despite the cold weather the sun was out. It was a much better day for skiing. Daniel fell the first day (a small fall) and managed to tear his abs. He was a trooper and continued skiing the rest of Wednesday and Thursday. The Dr. said he should be 100% in two months. Daddy is a crazy man :). Friday Kinleigh decided to pay us back for leaving her. She was terrible. I had a chiropractor appt. in the morning and Kinleigh pitched a big fit the whole time that Daniel had to take her out and keep her in the car. That was just how she was all day. She sure let us know that it was not nice to leave her like that.
Dear Ellie on your 20th Birthday
