Kinleigh's late night

March 2nd, 2007
Tonight we went out to dinner with the Keatons, Willifords, Newbolds, Wyricks, and Howards to O'Charleys. We were celebrating Ralph and Allen's birthday- both turning too old to mention :). After dinner we went over to the Willifords to eat cake and ice cream (blue bell bought special from the Willifords to Dianna-my FAVORITE ice cream). Normally Kinleigh goes to bed around 7 or 7:30, but we decided to let her stay up and party one night a little later. Around 10 we decided it was late enough and started to head out. Daniel being the clever one he is decides to drive through the grass and out to the street. However, he did not make it to the street b/c our Tahoe started to get stuck in the grass/mud. Daniel and Allen tried pushing the Tahoe while I tried to reverse/drive it out of the mud. I some how managed to squirt mud up from the tires right into Allen's mouth (not so funny at the time, but now thinking back...). Anyway, they were not able to get the Tahoe out, so they had to hop in the car and go to Wal-Mart to buy a tow strap. I tried to take Kinleigh inside and put her down for bed, but at this point she was way too wired. Finally, after tearing up the Willifords whole yard the guys managed to get the vehicle out and head home. Kinleigh finally went to bed about 11:15-11:30/ only four hours past her bedtime. You'd think she would sleep in real late the next morning, nope my child was up at 8. She did however take a 45 minute morning nap (while Daniel and I were putting down top soil in the Willifords yard-thank goodness she was sleeping). The biggest thing is that she took a three hour nap in the afternoon when she is now only taking like a 45-60 minute nap. What a fun time! At least we know Kinleigh can stay up that late, but we'd prefer her not to. (brown for the mud)
