Dr. Update

Ok, so I have been a huge slacker at blogging this past week. We did take Kinleigh to the asthma nurse last week and really didn't get a final diagnosis. The nurse said that she has not been obviously diagnosed with asthma, but she is sure being treated as if she does have asthma (nurses aren't allowed to diagnose and the Dr. didn't say so who knows). Anyway, she has to do her steroid treatments every night in her breathing machine for the next SIX MONTHS. Yes, I did say SIX MONTHS. On top of that she has to use the albuterol in the breathing machine any time she gets a cold and was even given an inhaler for on the go. Poor poor Kinleigh. The good news is that the nurse said that many children grow out of having asthma and several world class athletes had/have asthma. So we are just going to roll with it and pray for the best.
