Mothers Day

This year Daniel decided to invite over a few other families to celebrate Mother's Day. All the husbands and their children came over a couple hours before dinner to give the Mother's a break. While we were relaxing and enjoying our free time, the men were cooking us a 5 course meal. They set up an area in the backyard (kid free!) and then waited on us. It was so nice to enjoy dinner with friends, no children, and the husbands taking such wonderful care of us. I have to admit I was a little anxious when Daniel first told me about his plan but it ended up being a wonderful Mother's Day gift. That and the diamond hoop earrings! Since our anniversary was only a week later he combined the gifts.
