Spring Break

I know my kids are too young for Spring Break but our friend Hayden on the other hand is not....

We spent the week trying to make his Spring Break memorable.

One day we went to Pullen Park and road the train, carousel, and water boats. I of course did not bring my camera.

Another day we went to Crowder Park to play and feed the ducks (thanks to the man who gave the kiddos crackers). There was this ginormous fish that was very territorial. He would bit any thing that came into its area (other fish, baby turtles, and even the geese). However, he was no match the the HUGE snapping turtle.

Another day was spent at the Marbles Museum. We decided to purchase yearly memberships to give us something to do over the summer. We took the kids to the imax first and then the played at the childrens museum.
