Mom Erwin arrived Wednesday night after the kids were in bed. Kinleigh had been asking me every day for weeks when Grandma was coming. I am a mean Mom and when she wakes up in the morning she is suppose to get her clothes on and play quietly in her room or the game room until I come out of my room. We haven't really had any problems with this considering I am usually trying to drag her out of bed between 7:30-7:45 each morning. Non the less, she was under strict instructions NOT to go wake Grandma up. So she asks me if she could just come quietly out of her room and peak around the corner in Grandma's room. Good thing Grandma is an early riser because that girl some how managed to wake up no later then 7 every morning and yesterday she was up at 6:30!!!
Thursday we went to the outlets, ate lunch with Kinleigh, and Daniel came home from work around lunch to hang out.
Friday we let Kinleigh play hooky from school and we headed to the aquarium down town! That was AWESOME. The aquarium is on the bottom floor of the restaurant and is actually VERY WELL DONE! The kids had a BLAST and were able to touch STINGRAYS AND SHARKS. They also have FOUR White Tigers! Part of the pass we bought included the rides. Seeing how there was Barely anyone else at the aquarium the kids literally just went from ride to ride. IT WAS AWESOME! And my daughter has NO FEAR. They have a Ferris Wheel that has such a beautiful view of downtown, a Carousel, a Train ride that takes in a tunnel surrounding you with live sharks, and as Kinleigh called it the TUMMY TICKLER.
Saturday our Stake was hosting a Women's Conference with the guest speaker... JANICE KAPP PERRY and her husband. They did such an AMAZING job and I could not get over how much I love their relationship. They have to be one of the most adorable couples. Of course we had to take advantage of our outing and Mom Erwin and I headed with my Mom, Joyce, and my sister Holly to eat some Lupe Tortilla's!
We just relaxed the rest of the day chatting, taking a walk and catching up on American Idol.
Sunday, of course, was a church day and a wonderful relaxing day! Daniel wanted to take a ride and show Mom around our neighborhood and we went into some model homes.
Monday Daniel had to go to work and Kinleigh had to go to school. Mom Erwin, Levi and I headed to the music store to pick up Kinleigh's new piano books, drove by the Temple, and then had a picnic at this FANTASTIC park near the Temple.
Monday night Kinleigh started piano but that will have to be a post on its own... maybe next week when I actually take pictures.
Tuesday we had to return Mom Erwin back to the airport. Kinleigh was so devastated that Grandma had to leave. SHE LOVES HER GRANDPARENTS!!!

That park was so much fun - along with our mysterious river otter or muskrat "critter". The pictures all turned out well that you took at the aquarium too.
