A nasty bug has been going around the family and I thought we were going to escape the sickness but, no such luck! It started with Levi and lasted over a week. His started with just a high fever and then came the cold. Thankfully we caught the ear infection at the very beginning and he went on antibiotics for 10 days. Daniel was next and he came down with a TERRIBLE cold. After a week it turned into a sinus infection and he went on antibiotics. I came down with the same cold two days after Daniel and two weeks later I am finally able to breathe some what with out AFRIN. Might I complain... I got a cold in January and was stuck on Afrin for 3 WEEKS. Darn PREGNANCY and not being able to breathe. Oh, not to mention I got an ear infection and we think maybe a sinus infection and went on antibiotics. I started Kinleigh on half a pill of airborne everyday and the girl has managed to escape the bug.
Of course this happened over my birthday! In true Lawton style I drug out my birthday as long as possible. Tuesday Rosie and Sabrina took me to lunch at Pei Wei! My last meal I could taste for 1 1/2 weeks. Wednesday Daniel TOOK THE DAY OFF OF WORK (huge thing :) & big surprise) to take me out on a DAY DATE for my birthday. We sent Kinleigh off to school, dropped Levi off at Rosie's (BIG THANKS) and headed on our day date. The plan was to go to Kemah but considering the fact that I couldn't ride the rides and couldn't taste the food we had to put that plan on back order. First we went and test drove a car (Daniel is in desperate need of a new vehicle), went to the Galleria and then headed over to a movie. It was a FANTASTIC day. No pictures of course....
