ooops... out of order!
The last free weekend of the summer we asked the kids what they wanted to do and the answer was "go see the tall buildings downtown." We loaded up and headed downtown to Discovery Green Park. What we did not do was think about packing the kids swim suits. When we got down town we saw this fabulous water area for the kids to play. I think they were even more delighted that they were able to play in the water with there CLOTHES! Not only did they get to see the sky scrapers but they got to play in water and a cool play ground.
We ate at a hamburger/hotdog place right across from the water and once again Levi was refusing to eat. This stubborn boy was still refusing even while he watched his sister play in the water with out him. He FINALLY gave in and took a few bites so he could go play.

This looks like a great splash pad. They are so neat. When we hear about Texas weather, it always sounds like you have had a record-breaking hot summer - I bet the water felt good!
