I decided that I was going to attempt to make donut holes for the family. This was my first attempt at using our deep fryer. This is Daniel's toy and it kind of grosses me out looking at all the fat that I am going to be eating. Apparently you are not suppose to heat it up with the lid on.... OOOPS! Thankfully I was able to scrape all the melted lid out and still make tasty donut holes. I think I'll leave the frying to Daniel!

The doughnuts look good even though the lid melted. Most of us have melted a plastic lid like that - either with heating or the dishwasher or something.
