We're off to start our hike. 
Daniel had been eyeing this pack at REI for the last few weeks and so we purchased it and finally put it to use.

Who knew that we had such beautiful hiking trails 25 miles from our house. This park is located in the middle of the city- how nice is that?
Not so fun part was Daniel getting stung by a yellow jacket on the back of the neck and it swelling up very big!

Y'all are so lucky to live in such a beautiful area. Seriously. My friend Cody has been doing hiking, too, and it really makes me want to go. Darn Texas!
