We're Back

Here are the updated stats on Kinleigh. She weighed 21.10lbs (fatty) which puts her in the 4.5%- however, this is better then being off the charts right? For length she is 3o 1/2 in. which puts her in the 2.3%- at least there are 2.3% of 2 year old out there shorter then mine. Her head was smaller this time and was only in the 10-20% instead of the 40%- but, I still think it looks big. She still is the cutest 2 year old ever! We could of had a shot free visit, but with much persuasion we got the Hepatitis A vaccine. Kinleigh did so well and only cried for .5 seconds. What really impressed us is how well she did for the finger prick. Thanks to our friends (I won't mention any names) living in a house built pre-1950 our poor daughter had to have her finger squeezed forever to fill two viles instead of just one (one for cholesterol and the other for lead (b/c of the house)). Kinleigh did SO WELL at the lady squeezing the mess out of her finger, b/c apparently it wasn't coming out very well. The good thing is that the next check-up is in one year. We'll see how long we can go with out taking Kinleigh to the Dr. Right now we are in the office at least once a month, so I guess we'll shoot for two months.

so i guess we can look forward to CJ having to have 2 vials of blood drawn. . .

BTW, CJ had the lead test done and it came back fine.

i opted not to get the Hep A vaccine. we'll have to chat.

What's the deal with the Hep A vaccine? Why the controversy? Also, glad to see Kinleigh is finally making the charts :)
