Just to show how much we love the cabin... We have had this trip booked since last year. Right after we returned home from our trip last November we went ahead and reserved our perfect "peak week" for the cabin. The leaves sure were beautiful but I still feel we missed the peak by probably about a week. Oh well what can you do... we still had a BLAST even if we took our turn being sick.
We picked Kinleigh up from preschool and about five minutes into the car ride she says she doesn't feel well. I just so happen to have a Ziploc bag and hand it back to her and say, "if you have to throw up then throw up in this." Seriously two seconds later she starts throwing up- all in the bag. We debated staying or continuing our long drive and decided it was better to do the drive now with her sick then with either Daniel or I. To make it short, she threw up the entire way to the mountains. My stomach started hurting Friday night and Daniel got really sick Saturday and Sunday. Aside from that we had a wonderful time!

It looks like so much fun. I'm glad you all got to go (in-betweeen the stomach bugs). Fall is a neat time of year.
